About
Vincent (Vinny) Breslin is an Irish entrepreneur from Donegal, based between Lisbon and New York. In 2017 he co-founded Uplisting with Tadej Murovec and Andy Shipman, former colleagues at HouseTrip. The software gives vacation rental managers one place to run their listings across Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo, with calendars, guest messaging, payments and automation in a single hub.
As CEO he grew Uplisting to more than 1,500 business customers and around $400 million in bookings processed a year, while keeping it almost entirely self-funded: its only outside capital was $500,000 raised in 2022 from Calm Company Fund and its own customers. AirDNA, backed by Alpine Investors, acquired the company in November 2023.
Before Uplisting, Vinny was managing director of Keepmebooked, HouseTrip's property management business, until TripAdvisor bought HouseTrip in 2016. In 2011 he co-founded Sian's Plan with his mother, a recipe planner and online grocery tool that reached 10,000 members in the UK and the US. It was a Seedcamp finalist, raised £100,000 on Seedrs and went through the Food-X accelerator in New York and the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator in London.
He began his career as a civil engineer, then moved into product management in London at Ten Alps and TUI Interactive Media. He holds a BEng in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cardiff University, an MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering with distinction from Brunel University London, and a postgraduate diploma from Trinity College Dublin.
